The e-Visa for Uganda is an electronic visa is granted online to international travelers who wish to visit the country for transit or short-term stays.
You can request 2 types of Uganda e-Visa, depending on your travel needs:
Ordinary/tourist visa online: It allows for a single stay in Uganda of up to 3 months. It remains valid for use for 90 days from the date of issue.
Transit visa online: It allows for one transit of up to 7 days through Uganda. It remains valid for use for 90 days from the date of issue.

Documentation requirements for Uganda e-Visa:
The documents needed for the Uganda electronic visa application are just a few and depend on the reason(s) for travel.
To obtain a transit e-Visa for Uganda, applicants must have:
An eligible passport valid for at least 6 months — the traveler must submit a copy of the bio-data page
A yellow fever vaccination certificate
A recent passport-sized photograph
A letter stating the reason(s) for traveling and the final destination
For the ordinary/tourist visa, holidaymakers must hold:

Regular, diplomatic, and service passports are accepted.

Once the visitor has submitted the Uganda e-Visa online application, the system will send all notifications and updates via email.
The processing time is 2 days. However, some applications may take longer to process, up to 4 days.

Online Application for the Uganda e-Visa
All travelers must fill out the application form online. The form consists of a series of questions to provide personal, passport, and travel information.
The questions on the application form for the Ugandan e-Visa may cover the following:
Personal data: Full name, date and place of birth, country of residence
Contact information: Home and email address, telephone number
Passport details: Document number, place and date of issue, expiry date
Travel information: Purpose of the visit, date of arrival, duration of the stay requested
